Description
1923 built Nickel Plate Road “high cube” double sheathed, double door Auto car. This version, one of three variants we offer, has the Hutchins ends with Murphy XLA roof as applied to 100 cars of the order. The roof is properly modeled with visible seams at the roof edge.

- Draft gear compatible with Kadee whisker couplers.
- Prototypical fishbelly underframe with KC brakes and brake piping.
- Threaded brass inserts for mounting the body, couplers and trucks. No more stripped out threads in plastic.

Really great kit, totally enjoyed building it. Some 3d car kits warp, but with the internal bracing of this kit, it is not an issue.
