Description

Southern Pacific class F-70-26 bulk head flatcars, number series 508000 thru 508399, were produced in 1964 by GBEC.

The HO scale model comes with two decking options representing both used and with broken boards with the supplied weight being cut to allow one to view through the car with the broken board decking. Both styles of bulkhead boards, used and with missing boards, are also included along with “boxcar door” ends representing those cars that had one or both ends replaced with recycled doors. One of the boxcar ends is also dented to provide another option. The multiple decking/bulkhead options allow one to build several cars with no two being the same.

Also included is a jig for bending the non standard grab irons.

As with all Lines West kits, threaded brass inserts are included for truck mounting as are decals specific to this car series.

Not included; trucks, couplers .008 brass wire.
